Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Consults with stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization and recommend Workday solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals
  • Manage and maintain the Workday Talent and Compensation modules system; serve as a functional and technical expert
  • Perform system administration functions including business process configuration and processing of EIBs
  • Adhere and support HCM SOX control compliance
  • Ensure data and system integrity
  • Provide end-user support; troubleshoot bugs and issues via research, testing, scenario re-creation, and document findings
  • Escalate systems administration and end-user issues to our partner vendor(s) where appropriate; follow issues through to resolution (including testing, deployment, user communications)
  • Continually research, test and stay up-to-date on all Workday releases and fixes
  • Configure and test enhancements and maintain documentation of business processes
  • Participate in the regular review and prioritization of HR systems projects
  • Identify opportunities for improving the effectiveness of processes
  • Assist in the development of change management, communication and training plans
  • Work independently with clients to identify and clarify complex business requirements. Interviews clients, formulates business rationale, collaborates with key stakeholders to research existing business and system processes, plans and conducts requirements definition sessions to capture business requirements. Partner with IT to review and test applicable system integrations, as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with experience in human resources, business analysis, information systems or a related field required
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive human resources, information systems or related experience, preferably in a large corporation

Required Skills:

  • Workday Talent, Core & Advanced Compensation Administration experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise release notes and documentation
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization
  • Demonstrated experience managing HR projects which impacted multiple systems, processes and/or third-party administrators
  • Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design, test case creation preferably in Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
  • Must be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing is necessary
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style
  • Ability to manage change effectively always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications
  • Ability to identify and tackle problems proactively, researches and presents multiple solutions to problems. High attention to detail
