We have an opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Senior Wealth Advisor to join a leading firm in the suburbs of Chicago.
This role offers an opportunity to build meaningful relationships while crafting comprehensive, values-driven wealth strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary advisor and relationship manager for assigned clients, delivering tailored financial planning and investment management solutions.
- Lead client meetings across all phases of the wealth planning cycle, identifying complex issues and offering creative, strategic solutions.
- Develop and present holistic financial plans, including retirement, risk management, estate, Social Security, and education planning.
- Stay informed on market trends, economic insights, and the firm’s investment philosophy to inform client guidance.
- Collaborate with internal team members and external partners (COIs, strategic partners, and plan sponsors) to build and deepen client relationships.
- Proactively manage and retain client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and trust.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to professional growth and team development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in RIA wealth management, with a proven track record in both financial planning and investment management.
- Series 65 required.
- CFP®, CFA®, CAIA®, and/or CPWA® strongly preferred.
- Clean U4 with no disclosures required.
- Deep experience working with high-net-worth clients and managing complex financial situations.
- Proficient in financial planning tools such as eMoney or MoneyGuide Pro.
- Strong business development skills with demonstrated sales success and ability to grow and manage a client book independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
