Client Summary:
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Compensation $225k-$250k, company-paid employee coverage for medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, disability, and life insurance, and retirement savings plan (401k) with a company match. We also provide twenty (20) days of annual paid time off, and twelve (12) paid holidays
- Leader in Healthcare Philanthropy Consulting: Specializes in providing consulting and technology solutions to enhance healthcare philanthropy.
- Comprehensive Fundraising Strategies: Supports grateful patient programs, major gifts training, clinician engagement, fundraising strategy, and campaign planning.
- Expert Research and Benchmarking: Provides research, peer analysis, and benchmarking to improve healthcare fundraising outcomes.
- Experienced Team of Professionals: Comprised of experts with extensive experience in healthcare development and philanthropy.
- Expansion Through Private Equity Partnership: Focused on scaling services and enhancing technology-driven solutions through strategic investment.
Product Strategy & Vision:
- Define and maintain a clear product vision that aligns with customer needs and business goals, encompassing both new technology platforms and existing data analytics products.
- Develop and update the product roadmap to guide development and ensure transparency across teams.
- Prioritize product features to maximize business value and maintain alignment with the company’s objectives.
- Leverage knowledge of the product’s history and business model to inform strategic decisions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution and alignment.
- Work closely with the SVP of Technology on technical feasibility and with the Chief Commercial Officer on go-to-market strategies.
- Align stakeholders around the product vision and create a shared knowledge base to enable informed decision-making.
Market & Customer Insights:
- Monitor industry trends, conduct competitive analysis, and leverage customer insights to inform product strategy.
- Gather feedback through user group sessions and usability testing to enhance product offerings.
- Develop expertise in healthcare operations, donor management, and data integration challenges to refine product decisions.
Product Development & Execution:
- Oversee the product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Track key performance metrics to make data-driven improvements and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Implement best practices in SaaS product management while balancing new initiatives with existing solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
- Represent the company externally as an industry thought leader through speaking engagements and client interactions.
- Communicate product strategy, roadmap updates, and key initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
- Align with executive leadership to ensure product initiatives support overall business objectives.
Budget & Performance Management:
- Oversee budget allocation for product initiatives, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Monitor product performance against key business metrics and adjust strategy as needed.
- Develop pricing strategies and revenue models for SaaS platforms and existing products.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Key Qualifications:
- Extensive Product Management Experience: 12+ years in product management, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
- SaaS and CRM Expertise: Strong experience managing SaaS products and working with contemporary CRM systems such as Salesforce and Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge.
- Strategic Leadership in Business Model Transition: Led product strategy for organizations shifting from service-based to product-enabled business models.
- Healthcare Philanthropy and Donor Management Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare philanthropy processes, donor management cycles, and CRM workflows in enterprise environments.
- Successful Product Launches and Scaling: Proven success in launching and scaling B2B SaaS products in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Healthcare Data and EMR Integration Expertise: Experience working with healthcare data systems and addressing challenges related to EMR integration.
- Strong Leadership and Mentoring Skills: Ability to lead, build, and mentor high-performing product teams.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in Agile and Go-to-Market Strategies: Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, product development frameworks, and go-to-market strategies.
- Exceptional Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Industry-Specific Experience: Direct experience in healthcare philanthropy and healthcare technology.
- Cloud and Data Analytics Proficiency: Familiarity with cloud-native solutions (e.g., Microsoft Azure), data warehousing paradigms, and analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
