MS Wealth Management (MSWM) Technology
The position is within the Branch and Client Servicing group within the Field and Client Facing Practice Area in Morgan Stanley Wealth Management (MSWM). The Center of Competence for workflow platform is responsible for the delivery of the centralized workflow dashboard which hosts every workflow on the platform. To that end, we are seeking a senior UI technology specialist to join our group. This position offers a very unique opportunity to work in a highly visible area and gain an in-depth understanding of the MS wealth management business by interfacing with numerous business and technical areas across the organization. The candidate must demonstrate strong skills in client side development and must also have strong communication and interpersonal skills to work very closely with team members in Mumbai and New York throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
✓ Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline, preferably computer science or software development
✓ At least 5 years of experience in leading developers and delivering a product
✓ At least 10 years of experience in designing and implementing large scale enterprise applications (discover, design, implement and optimize)
✓ •Object Oriented Design and development experience with Java/J2EE
✓ Strong knowledge of Angular 2.0, JS framework.
✓ Experience developing end to end solution on a large scale enterprise application using Angular 2.0+ JS.
✓ Strong knowledge of REACT JS framework.
✓ Experience with other JS libraries and frameworks a plus (ex. Bootstrap, JQuery, etc.).
✓ Understanding of HTML5.
✓ Understanding of CSS3 and responsive design concepts.
✓ Develop software that is modular, scalable, stable and optimized.
✓ Used Caching Frameworks
✓ Strong understanding of full stack
✓ Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
✓ Experience developing in an Agile environment.
✓ Cultivate subject matter expertise with Angular 1.0/2.0 JS.
✓ Mentor team members around software development and architectural best practices.
✓ Work with teams across multiple areas to drive automation, establish software standards, service modularity, code reuse, testing and deployment management of services.
This individual should have good analytical skills, demonstrated capability of distilling details from complex business requirements into accurate and precisely specified functional, technical specifications and use cases capable of interpretation by both technical and non-technical readers. Must have the ability to maintain deliverables to schedule, ability to adapt to changes in requirements and priorities, be a self-starter, show initiative, ability to work on multiple projects at the same time prioritizing as appropriate. Act in a coordination role with business users, internal and external application development teams, DBA, and Q/A groups. They will interact with technical and support teams to assist in prototyping, design and planning of test cases. Be able to apply business judgment to create solid business practices, methodologies as well as recommendations and procedures.
