Senior Bilingual Tax Manager – Remote (U.S.-based, Preferred Locations: PR, FL, GA, East Coast)
GRC Executive Search is partnering with a leading CPA and consulting firm, recognized for its excellence across Puerto Rico and the U.S. East Coast, to identify an experienced Senior Tax Manager (Bilingual: English/Spanish). This high-impact leadership role is ideal for a dynamic, client-focused professional ready to lead a growing tax department and drive strategic outcomes across diverse client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
- Department Leadership: Manage and mentor a dedicated team of tax preparers and strategists, ensuring accurate and compliant tax preparation and advisory services.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership, including the firm’s CPA owner and CEO, to develop comprehensive tax strategies for U.S. and Puerto Rico compliance.
- Client Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, communicating complex tax concepts clearly and providing proactive solutions.
- Cross-Functional Partnerships: Collaborate with sales, accounting, and customer success teams to align service offerings, resolve client issues, and drive innovation in tax planning.
- Performance Management: Lead performance evaluations and produce insightful reports that support team development and operational excellence.
- Regulatory Expertise: Stay ahead of federal and Puerto Rico tax law changes to ensure up-to-date, effective compliance and planning for clients.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- CPA License: Active and in good standing.
- Experience: 5–7+ years in public accounting or a tax-focused advisory role, with demonstrated team leadership.
- Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of U.S. federal and Puerto Rico tax codes.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams and engage clients with clarity and professionalism.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
Work Environment & Benefits
- Remote Role: Based in the U.S., ideally in Puerto Rico, Florida, Georgia, or East Coast. Standard schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ET.
- Compensation: $124,693 – $133,499 annually.
