Senior Tax Accountant

We are actively seeking a Tax Senior to join our vibrant team. Salary: DOE per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Federal and multi-state tax returns for diverse entities including C corporations, S corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Effectively resolve complex accounting and tax issues to ensure client satisfaction and compliance.
  • Perform both basic and intricate tax research utilising current tax trends and legislation.
  • Develop and nurture lasting relationships with clients, focusing on exceptional service and trust.
  • Identify opportunities for tax planning and consulting, proposing innovative solutions to clients.
  • Focus on professional development through continuous learning and application of new tax strategies.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration.
  • Over 2 years of applied tax experience, preferably in a public accounting setting.
  • CPA license attained or in the process of completion.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Self-starting, entrepreneurial work ethic geared towards achieving results.
  • Proven capability to handle complex tax and accounting issues with clear understanding and efficiency.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated history of leading tax-related projects and initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in tax advisory and compliance in a consultative or corporate environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of developing client-focused solutions and rapport.
  • Active participation in professional organizations or continuous education related to tax legislation.
