Senior Systems Engineer - Citrix

Responsibilities:
 - Develop strategies for desktop virtualization and application delivery
 - Oversee the virtual application and desktop operations team. Ensure adherence to service level agreements
 - Develop desktop virtualization platforms that meet stakeholder requirements and relevant service level metrics
 - Implement technologies and policies/procedures to ensure VDI platform security
 - Develop and report VDI platform metrics

Required Experience
 - Minimum 7-10 years of experience as a Systems Engineer
 - At least 7+ years if experience in the following areas: Citrix virtualization, designing and implementing virtualization architecture solutions, application virtualization, application networking and network storage, VMWare, deploying applications on Microsoft Server 2008 through 2016, managing active directory, creation and roll-out of enterprise computing standards
 - Experience in implementing NetScaler solutions, including Citrix Access gateway, traditional load balancing and GSLB
 - Strong experience in Epic Citrix deployment and support
 - Knowledge of server/desktop hardware and software to recommend policies and standards for support purchases, installation and utilization

Education:
 - Bachelor's degree in a related field or at least 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Licenses and Certifications:
 - Citrix CCP-V preferred, CCP-N and/or CCE-V is a plus
 - VMWare VCP6 certification
 - MCSE certification is a plus
