Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed civil/site construction plans and generate accurate data points for construction staking.
- Perform data reduction and create detailed final drawings for boundary and topographical surveys.
- Assist in design and development processes for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Work collaboratively with engineers, surveyors, and field technicians on project execution.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software to enhance design accuracy and efficiency.
- Help maintain project documentation and records, ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards.
- Engage in client meetings, providing technical advice and maintaining strong professional relationships.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant CAD software.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices related to land surveying.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent multitasking abilities and strong organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management experience in a surveying or civil engineering context.
- Experience with GPS, Robotic Total Station, and other modern survey equipment.
- Prior involvement in municipal or transport infrastructure projects.
- Licensure as a Professional Surveyor (PS) or similar credentials.
- Knowledge of local and state regulations affecting land development and construction.
