A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant to support financial reporting, cost accounting activities, and day-to-day accounting operations. This position partners closely with leadership and plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting, analyzing operational costs, and improving accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare month-end financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis
• Support cost accounting functions including job costing, inventory analysis, and manufacturing cost tracking
• Analyze variances and assist with operational and margin reporting
• Manage customer billing, cash applications, and account reconciliations
• Maintain records for customer incentive programs and credit-related activities
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist with AP processing/check runs
• Support annual financial audits and reporting requirements
• Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel reporting tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Identify and implement process improvements within accounting operations

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables, lookup formulas, and financial data analysis
• Experience with cost accounting, inventory, or job costing strongly preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting processes
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
