Service Technician, Security Systems Industry

As a Senior Systems Security Technician, you will be our clients’ go-to resource for all things related to their security systems, from consultation and installation to training. You will also have the opportunity to use your expertise to mentor Junior Technicians and leverage your wealth of knowledge to guide my client into the future.

About the Position

• Discover the intricacies of our residential security systems and the fundamentals of our technology and programs.
• Provide clients with guidance on their system, including product recommendations and managing all setups.
• Technicians work closely with clients to provide training and answer any questions they may have about their new systems.

About You:

• Prior experience as an Installer/Technician required and you can confidently install a system from start to finish, including software programming.
• You’re comfortable installing, troubleshooting, and repairing CCTV systems, burglar alarms, access controls, and similar systems.
• You have the basics of network cabling covered.
• You can work face-to-face with clients and stay calm under pressure.
• You’re organized and tidy – you can stick to a schedule, keep clients in the loop on any changes, and would never dream of leaving their home or business in a mess before you go.
• You can handle the mobility requirements of the role, including the ability to lift equipment and tools weighing up to 20 lbs and climb ladders and scaffolding.
