Position Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Managing Executive Officer of HQ in Japan and President & CEO of Americas Region. Our client has 80+ years’ experience providing customized logistics solutions combining the latest technology and high-quality service. Their global network offers a multi-mode global forwarding suite of services spanning over 700 locations in 47 countries.

The Senior Sales Leadership-High Tech Advisor is a dual role with the first responsibility as the Xerox (XC) Program Manager to expand our client’s business with Xerox Corporation by maintaining solid relationships and communication with XC and coordinating with various departments internally to constantly and timely meet XC’s needs and requirements. Actively provide logistics solutions to XC by making suggestions to improve the mutual business of our client and XC. Achieve revenue targets by securing new business from XC on a global basis.
The second element is to act as the Corporate Sales - Executive Advisor, advising the CEO on how to expand global resources and its business in the freight forwarding, warehousing, supply management, US logistics systems and procedures for its digital, electronics and electric industry segments by leveraging existing global network and resources in such industry segments.
As a member of the management team, you will work with the CEO and the Managing Executive Officer to plan and execute the strategic sales operations, as well as provide necessary training to build teams in compliance with the corporate objectives and goals provided by leadership.

Background Required:
  • Significant experience in sales & marketing within the Freight Forwarding / Logistics sectors
  • Have multiple existing client relationships within the High Tech vertical
  • Complex supply chain solutions including transportation, warehousing, distribution & reverse logistics
  • Experience in general management concepts including planning, accounting, administration & finance
  • Negotiated terms for warehouse lease agreements
  • High Tech vertical leadership
  • Demonstrated track record of success
  • Staff management & training
  • Ability to travel domestic & international up to 50%
  • Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Residence: greater Chicago, IL (relocation assistance provided)

  • Advanced Degree –MBA
