What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver hands-on and strategic support for compressors, turbines, and pumps – including centrifugal, reciprocating, and integrally geared machinery
  • Implement PdM/PM programs using tools like vibration monitoring, oil analysis, and thermography
  • Analyze equipment failures and drive solutions through root cause investigations
  • Optimize system performance using insights from DCS/PI data and plant diagnostics
  • Support turnarounds, shutdowns, and long-term lifecycle planning
  • Advise on engineering changes and liaise with vendors and OEMs on upgrades and troubleshooting
  • Benchmark best practices and help raise the bar across operations

What You’ll Bring

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or similar technical qualification
  • 8+ years in rotating equipment or reliability engineering, ideally in petrochemicals
  • Deep understanding of condition monitoring and fault analysis
  • Practical experience with OEM systems (GE, Siemens, MAN Turbo, Atlas Copco)
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, able to engage cross-functionally
  • Fluent in English (Dutch or Afrikaans a bonus)
