Role Overview

As a Sr. Quality Engineer, you will ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise software solutions through rigorous testing and automation. This fully remote role (based in Columbus, OH) requires strong technical skills in backend testing, API validation, and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for backend systems and APIs.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across software components.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using modern frameworks.
• Utilize SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Track and manage defects using JIRA; collaborate with developers and product teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering.
• Strong skills in SQL, API testing, and backend validation.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Familiarity with JIRA and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
