Our client, one of Northeast Florida’s top commercial/industrial builders known for their Design*Bid*Build process is adding a Senior Project Manager to their team. This well-established commercial construction company’s projects range from Restaurants to Office Spaces to Retail Spaces to Medical facilities always “going green” when possible. This position reports directly to the President and will manage a team of Project Managers and Assistant PMs. As the Senior Project Manager you will manage multiple concurrent commercial construction projects, ensuring they progress from initiation to completion according to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate project cost estimates from contract documents, including labor, materials, and specified scopes of work, to establish project budgets
• Assemble and lead project teams, assigning roles and responsibilities while collaborating with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to achieve project objectives
• Monitor and enforce adherence to budgetary guidelines, safety regulations, and quality control measures while mitigating risks and addressing potential disputes or claims
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, stakeholders, and project team members, providing regular updates and ensuring project documentation is accurate and complete

Requirements

• At least ten years’ recent management experience
• Extensive knowledge of ground-up Commercial construction process.
• Estimating, accounting and project management software as well as Microsoft Project and Excel
• Bachelor’s Degree in Building Construction or 10 years of construction management experience
