Job Description

A local strong and Growing company is searching for a Senior Project Manager. This is a new position due to the substantial growth.

The Project Manager will facilitate processes from order through delivery, acting as the customer’s point of contact /representative between the company and customer. They are responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. The Project Manager will keep existing accounts satisfied by ensuring they receive a quality building within budget and on time.

Reports To: Projects Supervisor/Director

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manage all accounts as assigned.
  • Help the operation and company grow in productivity by leading the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Analyze each project by defining project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Prepare change orders as required.
  • Create job folders and relay all necessary customer/project information to appropriate team members.
  • Review drawings for accuracy against current quote, process change orders, invoicing and invoice follow up as needed.
  • Project coordination from initial order through delivery. Present schedule between customer and production.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, handling unique customer requests in-regards to the finished product.
  • Monitor and report progression of project to all stakeholders.
  • Evaluate processes and recommend process changes to senior management.
  • Define any areas of concern and present solutions to resolve issues.
  • Monitor budget, including gross margins on parts orders, change orders, and orders in general.

  • Excellent managerial skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of operations and project management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive computer skills with the capability of learning and evaluating new programs/interfaces as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • 7 + years of experience in a similar role
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Project Management and Customer Service experience required
