Senior Project Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial construction projects from planning through completion. This role requires a highly experienced leader who is not just a delegator but is actively involved in project execution, problem-solving, and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee large-scale commercial construction projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Develop and implement project strategies, risk management plans, and quality control measures.
• Work closely with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align project goals and expectations.
• Manage project budgets, cost controls, and financial forecasting to maximize profitability.
• Conduct site visits and field assessments, actively engaging in project execution to ensure work meets company standards.
• Utilize project management software to track schedules, budgets, and documentation.
• Mentor and support junior project managers, engineers, and field staff.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Lead progress meetings and provide regular updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Extensive experience in managing large commercial projects ($50M+ preferred).
• Proven track record of leading teams, solving challenges, and delivering projects successfully.
• Hands-on approach – actively participates in project execution, not just delegation.
• Expertise in construction processes, risk management, and contract administration.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with shifting priorities.
