The Construction Executive serves as a senior leader responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of large-scale, complex construction projects. - Provide executive oversight for multiple concurrent construction projects, ensuring alignment with schedule, budget, and client expectations
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers, driving accountability, performance, and succession planning
- Establish and enforce operational standards to ensure consistency and excellence in project delivery
- Partner with executive leadership to shape and execute strategic growth initiatives
- Drive financial performance across projects, including cost control, profitability, and risk mitigation
- Assess team capabilities and implement development plans to elevate overall performance
- Maintain a strong leadership presence across job sites and internal teams to ensure execution discipline
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership
- Identify and implement process improvements to support organizational scaling and efficiency
- Balance strategic leadership responsibilities with hands-on operational involvement across active projects
- Proactively identify challenges and implement solutions to maintain project momentum and outcomes
Qualifications
- Twelve or more years of progressive construction leadership experience with advancement into senior or executive roles
- Proven track record delivering large-scale construction projects ($10M–$65M+) with strong outcomes in schedule, cost, and client satisfaction
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing Project Management teams
- Strong financial and operational acumen with the ability to influence business outcomes and manage risk
- Established career history within reputable general contractors reflecting stability and sustained high performance
- Experience in complex commercial, hospitality, or similar high-visibility construction environments preferred
- Executive leadership presence with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with C-suite leaders, clients, and field teams
- Operational leadership across multiple projects with strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate challenges and drive forward-looking solutions
- Analytical and detail-oriented approach with strong follow-through
- Proactive problem-solving ability and high level of personal initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate challenging conversations and build consensus
