Title: Senior Programmer Analyst - Supply Chain Systems

Reports To: Director of Applications
Location: South River, NJ

General Summary:
The Senior Programmer Analyst will participate in analysis, design, development, testing, training and implementation of project objectives and business requirements. Must be familiar with SDLC approaches and documentation requirements for SOX compliance. This individual will also be involved in the maintenance of existing applications and resolution of any production support issues reported by the DC operations.

Position Responsibilities:
• Follow the required development life cycle
• Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, training and implementation of project objectives and business requirements
• Develop, maintain and support all in-house developed applications
• Ability to work independently or within a defined project team
• Ability to take direction from senior technical staff
• Ability to interact with all levels of management
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills

Position Requirements:
• 3-5 years of Application Development experience
• Experience using MS SQL Server 2012 or equivalent; .NET and/ or J2EE or similar technologies (.NET preferred)
• BA/BS degree is required – Or the equivalent in work experience
• Must be able to write MS SQL stored procedures and user-defined functions
• MS SQL Server administration & query performance optimization skills preferred
• Experience preferred with Retail and Distribution applications, experience with HighJump or other tier 1 WMS a plus
• Working knowledge of Visual Studio and IIS
• Experience managing source code repository and maintaining a version control system (experience with Aldon or TFS a plus)
• Familiarity with SSRS Reporting
• Strong technical skills
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
