Senior Program Manager

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a leading national MGU program administrator that provides commercial casualty insurance products and programs across multiple industries.

COMPENSATION

Salary range is $200,000 to $300,000 but can be flexible depending on experience. Eligibility for bonus/profit sharing. Full suite of benefits available and are 75% paid for employees and family.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• The Underwriting Program Manager oversees the underwriting process and the portfolio of business while assisting in the development of new programs.
• Manage a remote underwriting team and manage profitability of the portfolio.
• Collaborate with management team to coordinate delivery of new programs.
• Develop, monitor, and modify underwriting guidelines and culture to maintain target pricing and profitability.
• Manage individual underwriter performance to assist in achieving goals.
• Hire train and mentor new and existing underwriting staff.
• Oversee adherence to company underwriting guidelines and underwriting quality.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant industry experience.
• 5 or more years of experience in commercial underwriting management with an MGA or insurance company.
• Strong knowledge of commercial GL and Umbrella coverage forms and pricing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
