Senior Professional Engineer

An established and growing engineering consulting firm is expanding its leadership team. They are seeking a highly experienced and entrepreneurial-minded civil/environmental engineering professional to step into a senior technical and strategic leadership role.

Focus:

  • Lead complex projects from conception through execution across diverse sectors, including industrial, commercial, public works, and environmental compliance.
  • Oversee and execute phases such as planning, design development, permitting, estimating, and construction observation.
  • Mentor junior staff, fostering technical growth and leadership development within the team.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with clients, subconsultants, and external stakeholders, ensuring high-touch service and successful outcomes.
  • Support business development efforts by strengthening client relationships and identifying new project opportunities.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic growth initiatives.

Skill Set:

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Missouri or eligibility to obtain through reciprocity within six months.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in consulting engineering environments, ideally across multiple sectors.
  • Proven record managing technical projects, budgets, and teams from start to finish.
  • Experience with mentoring and developing junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally within the state and region.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
