The ideal candidate will combine strategic advisory capabilities with business development expertise — driving both project delivery excellence and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Consulting & Project Leadership

  • Lead strategic advisory engagements for transit agencies, municipalities, and infrastructure partners across modes including rail, bus, BRT, microtransit, and zero-emission transportation.

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive business cases, feasibility studies, operational plans, and technology integration strategies.

  • Provide expert guidance on program delivery, policy, and funding strategies to support large-scale transit infrastructure initiatives.

  • Build sophisticated financial models and capital planning tools to evaluate investment scenarios and support client decision-making.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing insights on funding mechanisms, regulatory changes, and market trends.

Business Development & Client Growth

  • Leverage a strong existing network of transit agency executives, OEM partners, EPC firms, and public-sector stakeholders to develop new business opportunities.

  • Lead capture efforts for major RFPs, RFQs, and strategic pursuits in collaboration with leadership and proposal teams.

  • Identify emerging opportunities in electrification, infrastructure modernization, and federal funding programs and position the company to capitalize on them.

  • Represent the firm at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings to expand visibility and influence.

  • Help shape go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and teaming approaches to grow market share in the transit sector.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor junior consultants and project managers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

  • Contribute to internal practice development, knowledge sharing, and the evolution of service offerings.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 12+ years of experience in public transit, transportation infrastructure, or consulting, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or client-facing advisory role.

  • Industry Network: Deep, existing relationships with transit agencies, DOTs, OEMs, EPC firms, or public-sector clients.

  • Consulting Expertise: Demonstrated success in delivering complex consulting engagements from concept to implementation.

  • Financial Acumen: Proven ability to build and interpret financial models, business cases, and funding strategies for large-scale projects.

  • Business Development: Strong track record of identifying, pursuing, and winning new business opportunities in the transit space.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Transportation Planning, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite and public-sector leaders.

Why Join Us

  • Lead transformational transit projects shaping the future of mobility and infrastructure.

  • Play a dual role in strategic consulting delivery and business development leadership.

  • Collaborate with a team of industry experts dedicated to innovation and public-sector impact.

  • Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives tied to project and business development success.
