Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced power systems professional to help develop technical solutions for complex electrical distribution applications. This position combines system design, application engineering, customer engagement, and commercial support across markets such as data centers, industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop power distribution concepts and system architectures based on customer requirements, reliability targets, and applicable standards.
• Review specifications and recommend equipment configurations, design approaches, and technical alternatives.
• Support commercial teams during opportunity development, proposals, technical presentations, and customer discussions.
• Work with engineering, estimating, product, and manufacturing teams to develop practical and competitive solutions.
• Evaluate electrical equipment and technologies based on performance, cost, availability, and application requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve system designs, standardization, and integration of emerging technologies.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering and customer-facing teams.
• Participate in customer meetings and industry activities as a technical subject-matter expert.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree is an asset.
• 5+ years of experience with electrical power distribution, application engineering, system design, or similar work.
• Knowledge of applicable IEEE, UL, and electrical industry standards.
• Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
