Senior Physical Therapist - Modesto, CA

This role is based in Modesto, CA, where you will work both in our state-of-the-art facility and conduct home visits to ensure comprehensive care. Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed Physical Therapy assessments in a clinical setting and in-home environments to identify patient needs, preferences, and objectives.
  • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to formulate and update patient care plans.
  • Implement and document therapeutic interventions as prescribed by physicians and agreed in care plans.
  • Administer manual and mechanical modalities such as massage, heat treatment, hydrotherapy, and electrotherapy.
  • Guide and supervise Therapy Assistants to ensure effective delivery of Functional Maintenance Programs (FMP).
  • Educate staff, patients, and their caregivers on the use and maintenance of therapeutic equipment and exercises.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
  • Valid California Physical Therapy License or proof of License eligibility.
  • Mastery of physical therapy principles, theories, and methods aimed at maximizing mobility and functionality.
  • Experience in a clinical setting providing therapy to a frail or elderly population.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with California healthcare regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
  • Two or more years of direct experience working with the elderly in diverse residential settings.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a clinical setting.
  • Active CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and lead a team in complex patient care activities.
