About Our Client:

Our client, located in Markham, is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist for a permanent hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Process hourly payroll data such as time and attendance (high volume)
  • Posts month end journal entries, remittances, remittance reconciliation, and T4 balancing
  • Audit payroll output and reconcile
  • Prepare government remittances and deductions monthly
  • Assist with month-end reporting

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Payroll Administrator, Specialist or Analyst
  • Working experience and processing payroll with ADP PaySpecialist or Pay@Work is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
