Senior Originator – Multifamily Bridge Lending

(Founding Hire Path to Head of Originations)

We are partnering with a large, institutional, and highly respected multifamily investment and property management platform—with ownership of 100,000+ units nationwide—as they launch a new multifamily bridge lending platform backed by significant internal capital and infrastructure.

This is a newly created, high-visibility role and the first hire within the origination team. The firm is committing $100MM in initial capital with a goal of deploying $400MM+ in bridge loans within the first year, and they are well capitalized with no funding constraints. The credit platform is already in place—what’s needed now is an experienced, driven originator to bring in deal flow and help build something meaningful from the ground up.

This role is ideal for a proven multifamily bridge or private credit originator who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and wants more ownership, flexibility, and long-term upside. Whether you are currently second-in-command at a large platform, leading originations at a smaller shop, or feeling boxed in by bureaucracy, this is a chance to help shape a lending vertical inside a powerful organization.

For candidates with 8–10 years of experience, this role will begin as a Senior Originator, with a clear path to Head of Originations as the platform scales. More senior professionals (10+ years) will be considered immediately for a Head of Originations or Managing Director–level title.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, structure, and close multifamily bridge loan opportunities
  • Build and leverage deep relationships with mortgage brokers, sales brokers, and borrowers
  • Drive consistent deal flow—this is a hands-on, high-energy origination role
  • Work closely with internal credit, asset management, and executive teams
  • Help establish market presence, origination strategy, and best practices for the new platform
  • Serve as a key face of the lending business in the marketplace

What They’re Looking For

  • 8–10+ years of experience in multifamily bridge lending, private credit, or similar originations
  • Strong existing broker and borrower relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to self-source deals (this is not a “wait for deals to come in” role)
  • Background with a firm that has an active bridge loan or private credit platform
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with hustle, urgency, and high energy
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Collaborative, team-oriented professional who wants to build—not just maintain

Location & Flexibility

  • NYC-based candidates are welcome
  • Hybrid expectation: 1–2 days per week in the firm’s Conshohocken, PA office
  • Some flexibility may be available for the right candidate
