Senior Oracle Integration Manager

This pivotal role focuses on leveraging Oracle technology to enhance business operations, driving the development and optimization of customized Oracle dashboards, cloud applications, and mobile apps. With a hybrid work schedule and occasional travel, this position is perfect for a strategic thinker who is eager to impact operational efficiency and decision-making high-level IT projects.

Salary: $140,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the liaison for internal IT communications with core business leaders, identifying technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate across various departments such as Operations, Finance, Sales/Marketing, Legal, and HR to ensure IT strategies are aligned with the organization’s long-term goals.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of customized Oracle application projects from scope definition to execution, including risk management and alignment with business objectives.
  • Direct system implementations, upgrades, and process enhancements to meet the evolving needs of the business.
  • Ensure effective communication between IT staff, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to aid in seamless project delivery.
  • Prepare and present detailed project updates to the Executive Leadership Team, focusing on project status, identified risks, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in IT budget planning and optimize resource allocation and financial management across projects.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT project management, particularly in a business-IT liaison or client service management role.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle ERP systems, demonstrating hands-on expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Proven track record of successful IT project management, including thorough documentation and alignment of technology solutions with business needs.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and technical proficiency necessary to develop integrated IT solutions.
  • Familiarity with IT service management frameworks including PMP, ITIL, and methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Sales Cloud, Oracle Financials, CPQ, and enterprise application implementations.
  • Technical skills in Oracle Forms, Reports, Workflow, XML, PL/SQL, APEX, as well as web technologies like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at proactive risk management in IT project execution.
  • Skilled in presenting complex technical data to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Thorough experience with Microsoft Visio, Excel, and other MS Office tools.
  • Experience in handling IT configurations, design, and development.
  • Robust understanding of IT audits, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and security frameworks.
  • Adaptable to new technologies such as SOA, Cloud platforms, and mobile application trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) or ITIL Frameworks.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous experience in the utilities or construction industry.
  • Leadership experience with a proven track record in strategic planning and execution within an IT environment.
  • Experience with modern data interchange formats and technologies like JSON, RESTful services, and modern API management.
