Our client is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to design, build, and maintain modern applications in a hybrid environment based in Columbus, OH. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, contributing to architectural decisions, and delivering high‑quality software within a collaborative engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET / .NET Core, C#, and related technologies.
  • Build and support RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, and architecture teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and sprint ceremonies.
  • Troubleshoot issues across the application stack and support production stability.
  • Contribute to best practices, coding standards, and modernization initiatives.
  • Integrate applications with databases, cloud services, and internal/external systems.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of software development experience, focusing on .NET technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, .NET Core, and API development.
  • Experience with SQL databases (SQL Server, Azure SQL, or similar).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure preferred).
  • Knowledge of modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and solid communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite part-time in a hybrid Columbus, OH environment.
