Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimize and ensure the smooth operation of CNC machining centers from setup to quality checks.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in manufacturing processes and equipment, applying practical and innovative solutions.
- Design and document detailed manufacturing processes including assembly and packaging to improve workflow and efficiency.
- Maintain and enhance equipment performance by implementing regular maintenance schedules and upgrades.
- Collaborate closely with design and quality teams to ensure efficient production of new products.
- Create and distribute clear, user-friendly training documentation and guides for manufacturing personnel.
- Continually review and refine manufacturing processes to implement cost-effective improvements.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with hands-on CNC machining expertise.
- Proficiency in using quality tools such as FMEA and process mapping to enhance production quality and efficiency.
- Strong competence with computer applications like Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP software.
- Demonstrated knowledge in metal cutting, mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Proven ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing principles and Lean Six Sigma certification.
- Additional languages, particularly German, considered a strong advantage.
- Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
