Coordinate all Supply Chain Project Management Office (PMO) activities supporting Long Range Plan (LRP) to diversify our supply base outside of China. Manage a portfolio of international production re-sourcing projects across low cost countries. Responsible for the project direction, coordination of resources, and the successful delivery of desired result as intended or defined.
Measure, balance and allocate cross functional resources across Supply Chain projects and make proposals for internal and external resources to achieve LRP objectives using appropriate tools and techniques.
Ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget; perform post project evaluations and assessments.
Coordinate (in person and remotely) internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Regularly facilitate cross functional project team meetings and ensure optimum coordination of activities.
Communicate project readiness and other updates to senior management as required; report issues that require visibility and escalate as necessary.
Serve as a liaison between cross functional groups, facilitate and foster communication.
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress; plan and schedule project meetings.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Successfully manage the relationship with the business unit/division/company and all stakeholders; provide status reports
and present project progress, problems, and solutions.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Under direction of the R&D PMO, support the development and implementation of project management methods, reporting, tools, templates, guidelines, and standards in order to establish a framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders to improve the probability of a successful project delivery.
