Our client is a Fortune 500 corporation with more than 115,000 employees worldwide. This is a full-time, 100% in-office position at our client's DC-area headquarters, and the team works closely with the company’s business units that offer a wide range of aerospace and defense products and services.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct sophisticated financial analysis to support corporate finance transactions and strategic initiatives
• Lead M&A evaluations, including complex valuations, due diligence coordination, and negotiation support
• Develop and execute capital structure strategies for General Dynamics’ short-term and long-term debt
• Pension strategy analysis, including relationships with OCIOs and actuaries for funds exceeding $10 billion
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
This is a dynamic, high-visibility role at corporate headquarters, supporting executive leaders and senior stakeholders across 10 global business units. The position provides financial analysis and strategic support for key Corporate Finance initiatives, including M&A, capital structure optimization, pension investment strategy, and other capital deployment opportunities. The ideal candidate will bring experience in some or all of these areas, along with a strong blend of financial analysis, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills to drive informed decision-making and financial excellence across the organization.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 10 years of relevant experience in M&A, FP&A, capital markets, or a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of how business transactions impact and flow through the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
- Experience with FP&A and capital markets
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong focus on accuracy and process optimization
- Mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- MBA or CPA certification preferred
- Extensive experience in M&A and valuation preferred
