This is an outstanding opportunity for a talented Big 4 Senior Manager or a solid former Big 4 professional that is currently in a senior leadership position in industry. Due to upcoming retirements, this position has been created to help transfer the knowledge of two highly thought of leaders. Senior Manager, Consolidations (Hybrid position)


RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare, review, and analyze internal and external financial reporting deliverables, providing summarized insights and variance analysis to support leadership decision-making.
  • Support accounting activities related to complex and non-routine transactions, including business combinations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal control principles.
  • Develop, document, and maintain accounting policies and procedures across key financial areas, including revenue recognition, intercompany activity, balance sheet reconciliations, and related compliance processes.
  • Partner with centralized accounting and finance stakeholders to prepare accounting analyses, supporting schedules, and journal entry documentation for complex transactions.
  • Coordinate and oversee close-related activities to ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial results.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support audit processes, statutory reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage broad and complex accounting matters, delivering consistent, high-quality outcomes aligned with business objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years of Big 4 experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements for complex transactions.
  • Proven experience managing month-end close processes and supporting audits in a large, diversified organization.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
