Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of maintenance technicians

  • Lead hands-on maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs

  • Prioritize work orders, apartment turnovers, and preventive maintenance

  • Coordinate and manage outside vendors and contractors

  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues and system malfunctions

  • Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe working environment

  • Work closely with the Property Manager on priorities and escalations

  • Use property management software to track work orders and maintenance activity

  • Provide excellent customer service to residents

  • Assist with on-call emergencies and snow events as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor in multifamily housing

  • Strong technical skills (plumbing, electrical, HVAC)

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team effectively

  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills

  • Experience with property management software

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
