About the Role:
An industry-leading construction firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and completion of critical facility projects. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects that integrate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Direct and manage all aspects of MEP projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and company standards.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Develop comprehensive project budgets and schedules, monitoring progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial parameters.
- Team Coordination: Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration among engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure all MEP systems adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks related to MEP systems and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 7 years in project management roles, specifically overseeing MEP aspects of construction projects, with a focus on critical facilities such as data centers or healthcare institutions.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, and plumbing, as well as familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive projects to successful completion.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to various audiences.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
