Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Inventory Analyst to work for our client located in Gahanna. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet business demands without overstocking.
  • Analyze and forecast inventory needs using historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on inventory performance metrics, such as turnover rates, stockouts, and order accuracy.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless inventory operations and accurate inventory records.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts, conducting regular audits and cycle counts.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving inventory processes and reducing excess or obsolete stock.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management or supply chain analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
