Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Inventory Analyst to work for our client located in Gahanna. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet business demands without overstocking.
- Analyze and forecast inventory needs using historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Monitor and report on inventory performance metrics, such as turnover rates, stockouts, and order accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure seamless inventory operations and accurate inventory records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts, conducting regular audits and cycle counts.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improving inventory processes and reducing excess or obsolete stock.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management or supply chain analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
