Senior Industrial Wastewater Process Engineer
Milwaukee, Wisconsin (Hybrid acceptable)

Mead & Hunt is looking for a Senior Industrial Wastewater Process Engineer with a PhD degree and a background in biological wastewater treatment and anaerobic digestion, including industrial wastewater treatment for design and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. In this role, the individual will serve as the subject matter expert for wastewater treatment and digester projects serving clients in the municipal, industrial, and renewable waste-to-energy markets. Responsibilities include wastewater treatment process development and selection, project technical support and review, conducting pilot and evaluation studies, technical solution development, and support for projects during commissioning, biological ramp-up, and providing recommendations for process optimization and operational adjustments.

This role is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After an initial training period, this professional can work a hybrid schedule.

Requirements:
• PhD degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or degree related to wastewater treatment processes.
• Biological wastewater treatment process experience that includes anaerobic digestion
• Industrial wastewater project experience is preferred but candidates with any project experience that includes related treatment processes will be considered if they have a desire to work on industrial wastewater projects.
