Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Salary: $27.80 - $34.65 per hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs of manufacturing equipment with minimal supervision.
- Lead and manage engineering projects aimed at equipment upgrade and process optimization.
- Develop and implement training plans for junior technicians, enhancing team skills and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Design and carry out system enhancements and modifications to improve production efficiency and safety.
- Act as a technical liaison across departments to support cohesive operations and troubleshoot complex interdepartmental issues.
- Responsible for the regular maintenance schedules and emergency repairs as needed.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Proven ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve moderately to highly complex technical issues independently.
- Substantial knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of departmental operations and maintenance procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years’ technical experience in an industrial setting or equivalent technical training.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Prior experience leading small teams or projects is desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of technical experience in a specialized manufacturing role.
- Exceptional performance ratings in previous positions, particularly in leadership roles.
- Experience in training and mentoring less experienced technicians.
- A degree in Engineering or a related field can substitute for a portion of experiential requirements.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
Skills:
- Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving skills specific to robotic systems, PLCs and other automated equipment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with emphasis on achieving results through teamwork.
- Proficiency in the use of typical office and industrial automation software.
- Dexterity and attention to detail for handling intricate assembly and disassembly of machinery.
