Senior Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to lead and advance our human resources objectives. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and compliant workplace environment in a manufacturing plant setting. This role demands proactive leadership in talent management, labor relations, and organizational strategy alignment, ensuring enhanced employee relations and adherence to HR best practices and policies.

Salary: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of HR and HSE professionals to develop and implement talent strategies effectively.
  • Drive labor initiatives critical for operational improvements within manufacturing facilities.
  • Act as the HR Business Partner providing strong support and relationship management to the leadership team.
  • Manage the recruitment process for production hourly positions, including screening, interviewing, and performing background checks.
  • Design and conduct new employee orientation to ensure employees are thoroughly educated on company standards and expectations.
  • Deliver training on various topics including plant policies, procedures, regulatory compliance, and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with senior HR leaders to align HR initiatives with broader organizational strategies and operational needs.
  • Develop and deploy HR strategies that support and facilitate the execution of the business strategy and operational priorities.
  • Independently make decisions that cultivate a high-performance culture by introducing effective HR programs and tools aligned with strategic competencies and business goals.
  • Stay abreast of changes in regulations, industry trends, and current practices in human resources.
  • Build and lead the management and business leadership by enforcing human resource policies, providing coaching, and encouraging professional development.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least five years of Human Resources Management experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, staffing practices, and labor relations.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate and organize effectively at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading change management initiatives in a large, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Certifications such as PHR or SPHR from the HR Certification Institute.
