Senior Human Resources Generalist

We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our team as a Senior Human Resources Generalist. In this critical role, you will support various HR functions including payroll processing, employee benefits administration, recruitment, and employee relations. This position requires a proactive approach and a commitment to excellence, providing an invaluable contribution to our robust HR department by working closely with the HR Director to enhance and streamline HR operations.

Salary: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete the bi-weekly salary payroll and ensure all associated reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Administer employee benefits for new hires and existing employees while managing annual open enrollment processes.
  • Lead recruitment efforts for salaried positions, enhancing recruitment programs and retention strategies.
  • Process attendance records, conduct monthly performance evaluations, and manage corrective counseling sessions.
  • Collaborate with operations to resolve employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and provide counsel, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Function as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Paycor/HRIS system, ensuring optimal utilization across the department.
  • Assist in reviewing, updating, and communicating HR policies in conjunction with the HR Director.
  • Engage in developing and implementing training and development programs.
  • Compile and analyze HR metrics to provide actionable insights to the HR Director.
  • Support the maintenance of a culture that promotes honesty, integrity, and openness through effective associate relation practices.
  • Complete mandatory reports such as ACA, FAS, and EEOC, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned to support the HR department.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • Experience with processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Demonstrated capability in handling complex employee relations issues.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
  • Commitment to acting with integrity, professionalism, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
