Our client, in the finance industry, is looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who is passionate about coaching and leading a youthful & progressive team. Their office is located downtown Toronto, however this is a hybrid working opportunity.

  • Creation and implementation of HR strategies, recommendations & best practices with regards to talent management, learning & development, career pathways and employee relations
  • Being a leader in equity, diversity, inclusion & action and maintaining a comprehensive understanding, education and sensitivity towards this area of the business
  • Leading and being a subject matter expert on people-related issues to assigned client groups
  • Analyzing HR metrics & data to provide innovative solutions with regards to organizational efficiency, succession & workforce planning, and general people strategy
  • Analysis of compensation packages and providing best-in-class recommendations
  • Proactively implementing new & existing HR programs and policies
  • Supporting with analyzing employee engagement results and action planning
  • Manage resource planning to identify key contributors, potential risks and impacts on the business
  • Support with identifying operational efficiencies and areas in which processes can be improved
  • Participate in the learning & development of the Executive Team
  • Assist in full-cycle recruitment and advise on people planning and pipeline development

  • 10+ years progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in finance (investments, asset management or capital markets)
  • Bachelors in Human Resources, Finance or Business
  • Strong skills in presenting written & verbal communication
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Bilingual English/French is an asset
  • Progressive & innovative thinker who is passionate about fostering collaborative organizational cultures
