We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Senior Attorney specialized in Healthcare Reimbursement to join our nationally recognized Healthcare Practice Group. This pivotal role will lead our legal team in providing expert advice on billing, reimbursement compliance, regulatory matters, and anti-fraud practices to top-tier healthcare clients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Counsel healthcare providers on Medicare, Medicaid, and VA/Tricare reimbursement requirements to ensure compliance and optimize financial operations.
- Structure healthcare transactions to align with Stark, Anti-Kickback, and False Claims Act regulations to mitigate risks and enhance compliance integrity.
- Lead the navigation of intricate healthcare enrollment processes, claims submissions, and proactive billing compliance strategies.
- Provide top-tier strategic guidance on business relationships and complex transactions involving diverse healthcare entities to foster robust compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to tackle healthcare regulatory and compliance issues, ensuring client operations align with legal standards.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from a top-tier law school and a stellar academic record.
- Active bar admission in the applicable state.
- At least 10 years of experience in healthcare billing, reimbursement advising, or policymaking with an emphasis on Medicare, Medicaid, and VA/Tricare.
- Profound knowledge of federal fraud and abuse laws including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and False Claims Act.
- Documented history of guiding hospitals, physician groups, AMCs, SNFs, and home health agencies on regulatory compliance.
- Robust experience in structuring business relationships to conform to applicable legal frameworks.

- Prior experience with private payors is highly desirable.
