An IT solutions provider to federal agencies is hiring for a Senior GL Accountant. Previous GL experience with a government contractor is required. This role is in office 4 days/week in McLean VA. Salary range is $95-$115k.

An IT solutions provider to federal agencies is hiring for a Senior GL Accountant. Previous GL experience with a government contractor is required. This role is in office 4 days/week in McLean VA. Salary range is $95-$115k.
Responsibilities:
- Support day to day activities of the accounting department
- Manage AP processes
- Review, code and classify invoices, payments and bills
- Assist with managing vendor relationships
- Lead month-end close procedures around AP, cash, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of preparation of financial statements
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations and accruals
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure consistent compliance with US GAAP and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years experience
- Experience working in the accounting department of a government contractor
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, Procas, Jamis
- Willingness to commute to Tysons Corner VA 4 days/week
