Senior Financial Reporting Analyst - SEC

Our client, a well-established Atlanta company has an immediate need for a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly reporting packages that include a full set of financial statements and analytical review explanation of significant variances of current financial position and results
of operations against prior period results
• Prepare the external financial statements including the balance sheet, income statement, statements of shareholders’ equity and statements of cash flows
• Prepare footnote disclosures to be included in interim and year-end financial statements and complete the related GAAP checklist

External Reporting and SOX responsibilities include:
• Prepare supporting schedules and update footnote disclosures in 10-Q and 10-K, including pension, inventory, revenue recognition, segments, debt
• Update 10-Q and 10-K for internal and external comments received
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for corporate SOX requests and walkthroughs

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Public accounting experience preferred
• CPA required
• 3+ years of related experience
• Expert level Excel skills
• Experience with 10-Q / 10-K filings required
• Experience in SOX environment
• Experience with reporting software tools such as Workiva, HFM, SmartView preferred
