Our client is looking for a talented Senior Controller to assist management in maintaining the organization's financial health and supporting its long-term financial objectives. You will play an important role in a world-class reporting team by promoting collaboration, innovation, and business expertise

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare periodic, quarterly, and annual internal financial statements and other support for meetings with management
  • Review and analysis of financial statements and metrics
  • Help prepare consolidated financial reporting journal entries and deliverables on a periodic, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Perform analysis, make recommendations, and participate in discussions pertaining consolidation and reporting matters
  • Identify process improvements and lead several efficiency projects
  • Support decisions with financial information and analysis
  • Participate in other projects and ad-hoc analyses and reports
  • Assist with cash forecasting and monitoring to ensure working capital needs are met
  • Assist with month-end closing of books
  • Create revenue recognition rules according to ASC 606
  • Assist with designing a functional chart of accounts
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • MBA, additional certifications are a plus (CPA, CFA, CMA)
  • Experience with Netsuite a plus
  • High level of professionalism, confidence, and discretion
  • Superior process, project, time, and change management skills
  • Exceptional intuition with the ability to proactively anticipate needs
  • Independent decision-making capabilities with strong judgment
  • Great organizational skills and logical thinker who can prioritize and pivot quickly between tasks while retaining and synthesizing information
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • The persistence to ‘breakthrough walls’ to solve problems
  • Basic technological proficiency required, advanced proficiency preferred; willingness to learn a wide range of new technologies and applications
