Senior Financial Analyst
Our growing client has an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst with sales and operations experience.
This role will support the strategic and financial analysis for sales and operations, while providing thought leadership for strategic initiatives that support the broader business including:
• Sales, Inventory and Operations Process (SIOP)
• Analyzing sales and margin trends across global markets and product lines
• Leveraging market trends and insights to provide thought leadership to the executive team related to growth rates, investment, product / sku mix and pricing
The Finance Sr Analyst will need to be a professional who can deliver the following traits and characteristics:
• Balance strategic thinking with tactical execution to support operational business partners
• Effectively communicate to operational business partners, and across the finance team
• Utilize project management skills
• Be able to take unorganized thoughts and information from business partners and be able force the conversations, strategies and actions back to driving business performance
and results
• Provide a financial expression / measurements / metrics for all actions and work streams to ensure that they are material and are able to be measured in the future
• As the business continues to define the near term, mid-term and long term objectives of sales and operations results and trends, the Finance Sr Analyst will play a critical role in
helping to define these objectives
The key tasks and responsibilities will include:
1. Play a supporting role in the analysis and consolidation for all SIOP meetings and strategy discussions with the executive leadership team members
2. Provide the Sales, Marketing, Operations and Engineering organizations support and ownership of analysis / reporting on consolidated sales and margin trends, market trends
and insights
3. Understand and analyze macro trends using external and internal data sources
4. Support the processes for sku rationalization across core product lines
Requirements:
• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Three or more years of experience
• Experience with an ERP System (SAP, JD Edwards) preferred
• Experience with a BI tool (Hyperion, COGNOS, Tableau) preferred
