Senior Financial Analyst
Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a high profile role interacting with all levels of Finance.
Duties:
• Support Business Unit with budgets, forecast, business cases, and analysis for programs strategic decisions.
• Liaison with the core finance & accounting group to drive profitability and variance analysis in all lines of businesses.
• Corporate finance and Operational analysis
• Data manipulation, will work with big data sets and analyze them.
• Understanding the drivers and drags in the business and providing recommendations as to where to the business should focus their time
• Incentive calculations – complicated if statements, driving w/ regional finance directors providing information on an annual and semiannual basis, analyze trends, why did they exceed or not meet goals
• Working with impact of successful projects, savings collecting data, analysis
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar field is required
• CPA, CFA or MBA a plus
• Four or more years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, budgeting and forecasting is required
• Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, policies and procedures
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion Oracle, BI, EPM Cloud or other financial reporting tools is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, ERP retrieve tools, etc.) a must
