Senior Financial Analyst

Andrews & Cole is currently working on a full-time Senior Financial Analyst opportunity with one of the largest investor-owned water utilities in the U.S., which has served over 1 million people in 80+ California communities for more than 90 years.

Position Summary

The Senior Financial Analyst supports financial planning by preparing budgets, analyzing financial data, maintaining forecasts, and evaluating business opportunities. This role requires strong financial and accounting expertise and collaboration with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop annual budgets and track financial performance.

• Conduct analyses comparing actual financial results to forecasts.

• Assess rate cases and regulatory decisions affecting financial forecasts.

• Evaluate new business opportunities and acquisitions.

• Update financial models and perform scenario analyses.

• Provide reports for leadership and regulatory filings.

• Ensure strong financial controls and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in financial analysis and modeling.
