Job Description :
The Senior Financial Analyst is tasked with dissecting complex datasets and leveraging all available tools to uncover actionable intelligence related to operational outputs, initiatives, or offerings. This position is a pure FP&A role for product manufacturing and product control. This role involves close collaboration with diverse teams to produce deliverables and present findings to leadership. While primarily office-based, the position demands a deep understanding of production workflows and tangible asset management.
Key duties include:
Building, verifying, and tracking data streams for performance summaries.
• Delivering cost breakdowns to guide leadership in strategic choices or fiscal planning.
• Comparing realized versus projected expenses.
• Tracking, evaluating, and reporting on asset values, operational costs, and related expenditures.
• Preparing detailed summaries and insights to address oversight inquiries.
• Offering on-demand support to site leadership, headquarters, and other units.
• Assessing efficiency metrics.
• Facilitating periodic financial wrap-ups, balance alignments, and revenue tracking.
• Evaluating profitability across clients and initiatives, while aiding the sales team with prompt updates.
• Scrutinizing reports for patterns and probing irregularities.
• Compiling past expense records to forecast costs for ongoing or upcoming outputs.
• Collaborating with operational teams to refine and assess baseline versus real-time costs.
• Examining production cost movements during periodic reviews.
• Ensuring accuracy in asset cost documentation.
• Proficiency in gathering and interpreting data from diverse inputs.
• Skill in dissecting information to pinpoint core drivers, rationales, or evidence.
• Estimating scales, spans, and volumes, or calculating time, expense, and material needs for tasks.
• Applying discretion and data to verify compliance with rules, guidelines, or benchmarks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Financial Studies, Economic Analysis, or Organizational Management.
MBA a plus but not a must - Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
4-6 years of relevant experience required.
