In this role, you'll work be responsible for the month end close, cash projections and will assist with SEC filings. Growth can be into FP&A, financial systems or financial reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Finance Analyst, Accounting Operations performs the transactional processing functions including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, order management, and T&E. Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of transactional processing data. This position reports to the Associate Director, Accounting Operations and Financial Systems.
  • Responsible for preparing the accounting operations monthly close including journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis for accounts including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and T&E.
  • Perform daily cash clearing and prepare daily cash balances.
  • Assist with the quarterly budgeting and forecasting process for cash.
  • Monitor the corporate card program.
  • Perform responsibilities in compliance with US GAAP and provide support for SOX testing and the annual audit process.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects supporting the broader Finance team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 3 years corporate finance and/or public auditing experience.
  • BA/BS business/accounting/finance or other applicable business discipline.
  • CPA with public accounting experience preferred with a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX 404 compliance and internal controls.
  • Expert proficiency with excel.
  • Life Sciences a plus.
