RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Finance Analyst, Accounting Operations performs the transactional processing functions including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, order management, and T&E. Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of transactional processing data. This position reports to the Associate Director, Accounting Operations and Financial Systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Finance Analyst, Accounting Operations performs the transactional processing functions including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, order management, and T&E. Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of transactional processing data. This position reports to the Associate Director, Accounting Operations and Financial Systems.
- Responsible for preparing the accounting operations monthly close including journal entries, account reconciliations and variance analysis for accounts including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and T&E.
- Perform daily cash clearing and prepare daily cash balances.
- Assist with the quarterly budgeting and forecasting process for cash.
- Monitor the corporate card program.
- Perform responsibilities in compliance with US GAAP and provide support for SOX testing and the annual audit process.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects supporting the broader Finance team.
- Minimum 3 years corporate finance and/or public auditing experience.
- BA/BS business/accounting/finance or other applicable business discipline.
- CPA with public accounting experience preferred with a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX 404 compliance and internal controls.
- Expert proficiency with excel.
- Life Sciences a plus.
