About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a professional Senior Financial Accountant with 3 - 5 years in a similar experience from a media agency or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full month-end, quarter-end and annual financial reporting activities for multiple legal entities
• Approve monthly revenue accruals, staff cost and operating expense accruals
• Provide support on final P&L’s and Balance Sheets for management review and approval
• Track all reporting deliverables (monthly actuals, YE and QE supplementary packs)
• Organize monthly variance analysis, analytics and commentary on month-end financial results vs forecast
• Participate in the execution of work to colleagues in other Finance pillars, business directors and external clients
• Review and resolve requests for information in a timely manner

Qualifications

• University Degree in business administration, finance or accounting
• Big 4 accounting firm experience (asset)
• 3 - 5 years in a similar experience from a media agency or related field
• CPA certification or close to completion
• Excellent understanding of the financial process and IFRS accounting standards
• Strong knowledge of general accounting practices and principles
• Detail oriented, professional and organized
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills
• Previous experience using MS Dynamics and SAP (asset)
