The Senior Finance Systems Programs Manager will own the administration of Hyperion Financial Management (HFM). The role will lead and execute HFM architecture and maintenance to support financial consolidation and reporting. The role is responsible for HFM monthly close activities, HFM business rule/metadata update, Financial Reports development/updates, system upgrade/enhancement, system internal control procedure, and participates other finance program projects. This role will act as liaison with corporate, and business/segment finance and accounting to enhance the financial reporting and consolidation systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads HFM change/enhancement and manages monthly HFM close cycle. Responsible for month-end close actual data load to HFM and data integration with other corporate and business financial systems e.g. PeopleSoft.

Maintains and executes business rules, calculations, data copies/clearing, and moves. Proactively reviews and monitors the application and makes recommendations for design enhancement relative to ongoing best practice. Develops and maintains financial reports using Hyperion Financial Reports Studio, Smartview and other reporting tools.

Manages system metadata, coordinates the execution of change management process related to metadata, and communicates metadata changes to end users.

Provides support and direction on system-related issues to management and staff. Leads and manages the development and implementation of incremental system integrations.

Maintains user security and manages change processes for user security in accordance with established protocols. Trains and supports users in both corporate and operation accounting. Prepares and maintains user documentation and training materials.

Manages and directs development of reports for SOX and Big 4 Auditors as needed. Reviews, documents, and maintains SOX controls related to consolidation and reporting system and develops appropriate SOX controls and documentation.

Assists with the enhancement of business processes and supports the business leaders with critical business strategies by managing the development, testing, and implementation of new business application systems. Acts as liaison among Digital Technology, Corporate Accounting, business segments for business application projects and change management controls.

Strong functional expertise in Finance and Accounting, understanding of HFM and how HFM works, and proficiency of VB, SQL, ODBC skillsets are essential to be successful in this role. Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate's recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values. Responsible for identifying training needs, tracking performance, coaching, and motivating team members.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or related field. MBA is a plus. Minimum 6-8 years of related experience with 3 years of direct experience from a reputable firm. Strong program management experience preferred. Technical experience in HFM version 11.1.2.2 and/or 11.1.2.4 Hyperion Financial Management or related experience in the accounting or IT areas preferred. Experience in working through all phases of Software Development Life Cycle including the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of financial application preferred.

CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
CPA, CMA, CA, CFA preferred.

Oracle Hyperion Financial Management Certification preferred
